Bringing Hope to the Vulnerable: Humanitarian Assistance and Social Welfare

Humanitarian assistance is most effective when it responds to assessed needs, protects dignity and is delivered through clear records and responsible local coordination.
SDC Nepal supports vulnerable families affected by poverty, displacement, seasonal hardship, illness and emergencies across Eastern Nepal. Assistance may include essential food and household items, emergency cash or in-kind support, referrals and protection-focused help.
Priority is determined through documented assessment, with special attention to children, vulnerable single women, older people and persons with disabilities. Beneficiary photography and reporting are handled carefully to protect privacy.
An essential family-support package is planned at approximately NPR 6,000. Contents and final cost vary according to household size, location, market prices and current need. SDC Nepal approves the current package list and supplier quotation before each appeal.
Donate through sdcnepal.org/donate and write “Family Support” in the message or dedication field. Funds are recorded according to the stated purpose and used subject to the approved project plan.
